Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that it has launched a new Web site. Although the old site was functional, it lacked the newer technology members desired. The site address is www.greateralliance.org.
Greater Alliance is limited in its number of physical locations, but it is not limited by what it has to offer to its members. By updating its site, GAFCU is able to showcase its full offering of products and services.
The new site is responsive to all types of platforms including tablets and mobile phones. Users can tweet directly from the site or follow the credit union on all their social media platforms. When searching for a loan, users can apply directly online or e-mail representatives right from the site.
GAFCU offers commercial products including savings, checking accounts with high dividends, business and auto loans. Its business line offers special interest rates and flexible terms specifically for commercial customers. The company is also preparing to offer merchant services by first quarter of 2016.

Although GAFCU is located in Northern New Jersey, it’s part of the COOP Network where our members have access to over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs and 5,000 shared branches throughout the country. The improved site allows users to search for the closest surcharge FREE ATMs located in various Rite Aid locations in New Jersey as well as 7 Eleven ATMs and other Shared Branching locations. In addition to the banking that may be done online, members and non-members of the credit union are invited to use the new value added services under the resources tab. There are tips on budgeting, saving for college and how to prevent identity theft. There are also webinars on a variety of topics in the credit union industry that can be accessed in a dynamic, real-time calendar function.
