Adopt A Kid for the Holidays

Employees of Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union recently worked with St. Theresa church of Paterson to adopt parish children for the holidays. The children ranged in age from 5 months to 17 years old. Greater Alliance employees either donated cash between $15 to $20 or gave a gift wrapped toy. GAFCU Teams Up with Paramus Police to Bring Joy for the Holidays

Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union recently teamed up with the Paramus Police Department and Detective James Teehan in support of a holiday toy drive. Each year, police officers deliver donated toys to families and organizations in need within the local community. Greater Alliance Raises Money for Down Syndrome

Employees at Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union, GAFCU, have raised more than $900 by wearing jeans on Fridays. From April through September this year, collected money for the Hopes & Dreams Foundation, which recognizes the need for creative and social outlets for children and young adults with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. On April 25, at the corner of Main and Bergen streets in Hackensack, a three-alarm blaze ripped through a building on the city’s business corridor. The building included a retail facility at ground level and apartments above.
