Our New, State of the art, Hackensack Branch coming soon

Last week, the first official shovels went into the ground to mark the ground breaking of Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union’s flagship branch. The new state-of-the-art Hackensack branch is being designed and built by PWCampbell, a fourth generation, locally owned design/build firm.

“Simply put, we are outgrowing our current facilities,” said Glenn Guinto, president/CEO of the $200 million credit union. “It’s a good problem to have. Today, our talent team is spread out among several different offices, and those that are located at our main office are sharing close quarters. The new environment will be conducive to collaboration so that our staff can learn from each other and be inspired by the work their teammates are doing.”

The ground breaking took place on December 4 at 100 Hudson St., Hackensack. The new building is on a .63 acre site and will house a 11,000 square foot facility. Construction of the new headquarters is expected to be completed by Spring 2021.

The facility will house a full-service branch, back office lending, ample space for training and several collaborative spaces for staff to interact with other employees and members. There will also be a community room for both the use of the credit union as well as local organizations. The new building will feature state-of-the-art technology to help members with their transaction and greatly reduce wait times.

“This new working environment is conducive to collaborating with members, other professionals in our field and community leaders. Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union is not just a bank, we are a community partner,” said Guinto.
