Volunteers from Greater Alliance Hopes & Dreams Foundation participated in a weekly bingo game at the Paramus Veterans Home. The volunteers had a lot of fun interacting with the residents and providing any assistance needed to help win prizes. The foundation provided $300 to help fund this fun event. Each time a person had a ‘Bingo’ the volunteers gave them $2. It was a fun day to give back to the veterans who have given so much to the country. After a very competitive game of bingo, our volunteers also spend some time with the residents and assisted bringing them back to their rooms.
Program Goals:
• Make our Veterans day more fun by sponsoring BINGO game and assisting during the games
• Assis Veterans by helping them with BINGO games, or just someone to talk to
