Hackensack Scholarship

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the board of directors have decided to re-allocate the scholarship funds to make donations to our community healthcare facilities and the local food banks. We apologize for the inconvenience, unfortunately we will NOT be giving out any Scholarships for 2020.

On behalf of the Greater Alliance Hopes & Dreams Foundation For Children we would like to commend your efforts to pursue a college education. Your interest in applying for the Jerry D’Ambrosio Scholarship which is dedicated to Hackensack High School students shows that you have decided to positively affect your future through higher education.

We are looking for a person of outstanding character. You Don’t Need to be a straight-A student, star athlete or club president.

Keep in mind that most scholarship funds, including ours, are competitive processes. To ensure your application receives full consideration, we suggest you:

1) Carefully read the eligibility requirements
2) Fill out the application completely and
3) Submit the application and all supporting documentation by the deadline

Eligibility Requirements:

All applicants must be a graduating Hackensack High School Senior, class of 2020
All applicants may show verification of acceptance into a college program (if available)
All applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.8 or higher
