The Greater Alliance Hopes and Dreams Foundation made a donation in the amount of $3000 to the Johnson Free Public Library in Hackensack. The donation was given to the children’s department to be spent on furniture. The library submitted a proposal for comfortable chairs, tables and play tables to be used for the children of Hackensack as they visit the library.
“The library offers so many great programs for the children in Hackensack,” said Glenn Guinto, CEO of Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union. “We hope that our donation can make the children comfortable and happy while they begin their literacy journey.”
The Johnson Public Library offers a variety of programs for younger children during the day and then after school programs for the older children and young adults. “This new furniture will help them to be comfortable in a safe environment,” Ana Suarez, Business Development Officer at GAFCU and trustee of the foundation.
