The Greater Alliance Hopes and Dreams Foundation delivered food to the Paramus Community Pantry in early January at a time when many food pantries are bare after the holiday season.
“After the holiday season, many go back to their everyday lives and don’t realize that the true need starts when the holidays are over,” said Glenn Guinto, President of Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union. “I am so proud of how our employees are so willing to help fill this void at the pantry and give back to so many.”
Ana Suarez, Business Development Officer and trustee of the foundation, and Bryan Griffith, Digital and Social Media Specialist, delivered the items to Ruth P, a volunteer at the food pantry.
The food was donated by employees at Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union as well as the Greater Alliance Hopes and Dreams Foundation.
The Paramus Community Pantry operates under the non-profit Paramus Friendly Neighbors and focuses on the needs of the elderly, disabled, unemployed, homebound, underemployed and single-parent households in need.
