Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union is enhancing your security.
Reminder: All members using the CO-OP Shared Branch network must complete a quick and secure identity verification process called IDCheck when visiting other participating credit unions, especially if presenting an out-of-state ID.
Why IDCheck?
Your security is our top priority. With fraud on the rise, IDCheck adds an extra layer of protection to prevent account takeover and ensure that only you can access your account.
How IDCheck Works
- Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
- Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list.
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID.
- Take a selfie.
- a. Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
- Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
When Is IDCheck Needed?
- When using Shared Branch services at a different credit union
- Especially required for cash withdrawals using out-of-state IDs
