Our Hackensack Branch is Moving Soon!
We are very excited about our new Hackensack branch located in the heart of town at 100 Hudson Street in Hackensack NJ. We are making great progress, it should be done by the third quarter of 2021!
This branch is our tribute to the city of Hackensack, our birth city. For the past 8 decades, we called Hackensack home and the city embraced us as one of the true, born, and raised Financial Institution that served its citizens’ financial needs since 1937. Generations of Hackensack families have utilized all our products and services to better their financial health. We are proud to build this branch and dedicate it to the city of our origins and we are looking forward to continuing our mission of providing the best financial products and services to all Hackensack residents along with the other communities that we serve for generations to come.
The facility will house a full-service branch, back-office lending, ample space for training, and several collaborative spaces for staff to interact with other employees and members. There will also be a community room for both the use of the credit union as well as local organizations. The new building will feature state-of-the-art technology to help members with their transactions and greatly reduce wait times.

Important Notice for Safe Deposit Box Holders Concerning Discontinuation of Safe Deposit Box Services

A change for Safe Deposit Box Holders at the Hackensack Branch
We want to inform you that, with the transition process of moving to newly updated facility, we will be discontinuing our safe deposit box services at the Branch at 359 Main Street. As you can imagine, with the advancements in technology, in-home safes, and scanning/electronic documents, there is a significant decrease not only in the need to have a safe deposit box, but in the number of clients using this service. As a result, Safe Deposit Boxes must be completely vacant of contents and closed by Monday, May 31, 2021.
Safe deposit box services are available at our Paramus Branch. Limited box sizes are available now; act quickly if you may still require these services for securing your valuables!
Greater Alliance would like to thank you for your understanding in advance and apologize for any inconveniences this may cause you. Safe deposit renewal notices and processing is an automated process. As such, accommodations to prorate or refund fees will be necessary for some box holders
